Frequently asked questions

How do I place an order?

Choose your pieces in the shop and add them to your basket. When you have everything, open your basket and press ‘Complete your order’. Fill in your details and the delivery address, then press ‘Send order’.

Once it’s sent, you’ll see the order reference on screen. Make a note of it, and if you write to us about that order later, include it in your message.

When do I pay?

When we confirm your order. We’ll email you the total, including delivery, and explain how to pay.

How much is delivery?

It depends on the pieces and where they’re going. We work it out from the postcode and town you give in your order, and include it in the confirmation email, together with the total. Your basket only shows the price of the pieces.

What if a piece is sold out or says ‘Price on request’?

Sold-out pieces stay in the shop, labelled ‘Sold out’. If you’re interested in one, write to us from its page and we’ll point you to similar pieces.

If a piece shows ‘Price on request’, write to us from its page and we’ll give you the price and tell you whether it’s available.

What are the pieces made of?

Mostly bamboo and wood. There are also pieces in plant fibres such as jute, sisal, rattan, wicker and linen, and a few in glass or ceramic. Each piece has its own page, which tells you what it’s made of.
