Strong, natural, eco-friendly jute hessian.
Jute is a golden-brown fibre that comes in a range of textures.
It holds a moderate amount of moisture and is widely used to make beach and shopping bags, gift packaging, upholstery, wall coverings and more.

There are several jute fabrics to choose from, in different weights and weaves, so you can pick the one you need.

Sizes

Sold in units of 50 cm x 150 cm wide (except model C, which is 50 cm x 160 cm wide).
If you order more than one unit, we cut your fabric as one continuous length. For example:

1 unit is 50 cm x 150 cm, 2 units are 100 cm x 150 cm and 3 units are a single piece of 150 cm x 150 cm.

Check the weight of the fabric you choose. Each parcel can weigh up to two kilos, so if your order weighs more, we cut the fabric and send it in more than one parcel.

Where jute comes from

Jute, which comes from the Corchorus capsularis tree, is a very sustainable product for several reasons, including:

– It grows fast and can be harvested every six months without cutting down the tree.

– It needs almost no chemical treatment while it grows.

– It puts a great deal of oxygen back into the atmosphere.
